BACK TO Licence Conditions Explained

Records of any transactions, deaths, escapes or breeding must be documented using the Quarterly Keepers Records form. These recorts must be kept up to date at all times and may be inspected by a wildlife officer at any time.

These records MUST be sent off to the wildlife licencing officer every three months from the date of issue of your licence.

For example if you licence was issues on the 22-6-08 you must submit quarterly records for all species held every three calender months from then on. So quarterlies must be submitter around 22-9-08, 22-12-08, 22-3-09 and so on.

Even if you have not changed anything since your last quarterlies were sent in they must still be submitted stating total animals held.

Over 80% of keepers are non complient to this licence condition. Failure to do so can result in caution notices and for continual offenders can result in fines, licence suspension, animal seizure or licence cancellation.
