A reliable Calcium Reactor will produce the best calcium per water ratio for money. Easy to install, with a carbon dioxide injection unit, a reactor requires little maintenance, thus eliminating the need for dosing (and at the same time any potential for calcium over dosing).
Additionally, a quality calcium reactor will introduce many crucial trace elements such as strontium, magnesium and iron to name a few.
The Tunze reactor is compact and unique in that it can be installed internally, that is in the sump or even neatly in a back corner of the aquarium if need be. A full range of deltec reactors are available to be ordered on a one week turnaround basis.
